(A) A colorful double-faced French enamel sign, for the Jaz Clock Company, in near-mint condition. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(B) Does it get any more fun than this -- the enamel sign from a men's room at a metro stop in Paris? Now, don't press me for just which stop that was, I only bought it from a dealer! But, who could resist? 39 1/2 wide, just under 16 tall. That's not an accent mark on the "S," just the price tag (yes, that PROVES I wasn't the thief!)

So after jealously guarding this sign for close to 20 years, I took it into the store and sold it on the first day. BOO HOO!!

(C) How dare you even THINK of opening your wine tasting room or wine bar or even your RESTAURANT without this classic?!! Uh, you would be serving French wines, not Californian. Anyway, this is one of the biggies, the most desired of all, by G. Favre, and here it is, in fabulous condition (save a couple of spots where some slug threw a wine bottle at it). It measures 27 1/2 wide and 25 1/2 high. Double-sided, with a fastening element at a 90-degree angle.

I'm not sure if Johnny's got a restaurant, but I'll bet he's got just the right spot for Le Cep Vermeil anyway, n'est-ce pas? SOLD!!!

(D) Double-sided message, a charming treatment -- 18 by 20 inches. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(E) Saving the best nearly 'til last... a sign by the noted French artist Cassandre for the Casino grocery store chain; it measures 27 across, 29 high, and is one-sided. I have one in my kitchen, and couldn't cook without it! (e-mail Jack for a price)

(F) This has to be pretty much my all-time favorite (depending on the day, the hour, the minute), although I'm pretty hooked on the others! Close to 18 inches tall and 11 1/2 wide, in near-mint condition! (e-mail Jack for a price)
