(A) Just shot from Jack's famous Restoration Cannon, this incredible solid bronze vase has been refinished and patinated in brushed nickel. It's about 9 inches high. Pas mal, eh? (e-mail Jack for a price)

(B) Here we easily see why Longwy, with its superior esthethic, commands such a ready audience. This vase is about 10 inches high, 7 wide. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(C) WMF (German) vases with compelling Modernist designs. They stand at about 10 inches. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(F) "Editions Etling, Paris" accompanies the moniker of Marcel Guillard on the bottom of this handsome, heavy (8 1/2 pounds!) pottery vase which measures 11 wide, 9 tall. With its crackle glaze and peachy color, it comes close to looking like eggshell.

You BET Bruce jumped on this Guillard when he saw it! SOLD!!

(H) A striking 14 inches tall, 8 wide, this presumably Italian porcelain vase has its original (illegible) paper label intact! Judging from the artwork, I'd say it was made in the 50's. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(I) This subtlely colored moss green vase by the French company St. Radegonde stands 9 1/2 inches high and is just about as wide. Aren't the "handles" and embellishment around the opening just "Art Deco whimsy" at its best? (e-mail Jack for a price)

(J) What's a cache pot doing mixed in the vases? Taking a walk on the wild side? I just adore the high glaze, vividly colored, undulating Art Nouveau-styled artistry of this piece, which is 10 inches in diameter, 8 inches high. On the interior it has two short"hairline cracks" in the glaze emanating from the top, but there are no chips at the top. It has the company stamp insized on the bottom, "Longchamp de Fer," and the artist's initial, "N". (e-mail Jack for a price)

(K) Talk about sweet! This ample-sized, 14-inch tall ceramic vase has a positively liquid-appearing high glaze. It's marked "Made in Denmark," and there are artist's or company initials etched into the bottom as well, something in the realm of JAK....??? It was used as a lamp base and there is a tiny, 1/4 inch diameter hole in the side, right at the bottom. I've plugged it for the moment, and it holds water just fine! (e-mail Jack for a price)

(L) I can't imagine why we can't show off another German vase amongst the French and Danish examples! The fine Modernist of the artwork would already have taken my breath away, but nothing was left after I'd seen those saturn-like wings! It's just over 4 1/2 inches tall. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(N) Standing just under 11 inches tall, a striking pair of Boch vases designed by Catteau. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(O) Brilliantly worked, signed RS (R. Sitoleux), this French dinanderie (pewter) vase has great authority, and stands 10 inches high, 9 across. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(P) French pewter vase about 7 inches high. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(Q) French pewter vase about 7 inches high signed Delavan. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(A) A ceramic vase by Keramis, about 10 inches tall, a festival of beauty and color. Detail and vivid colors to rival the esteemed Longwy.

Sorry, now in the loving hands of Billie! SOLD!!

(B) Also by the Belgian firm Keramis, about 9 inches tall, a riot of color, clearly "a la Japonais."

Billie had to have this one too! Can you blame her? SOLD!!

(D) One very decorative pair of Keramis ceramic vases from Belgium. These are exceptionally tall, at 12 inches each. Mint condition!

Sorry, Gordon snatched these KERAMIS vases up! SOLD!!

(E) Signed Dedieu Thoumiand, a "nice" French name if ever there was... Standing 8 inches tall, made of aluminum (a miraculous new metal!).

Sorry, Ernie's digging this aluminum baby! Sold! No, now HE's sold it too!!!
