Have we ascended to Moderne Heaven? Measuring about 24 top-to-bottom and 19 wide, this peach glass and chrome (over brass) French chandelier was probably made in the late 20's or early 30's, and is in near-mint condition, there being just a couple of very minor "wrinkles" in the metal where the side panels emerge. The sublime design suggests that final moment where ornamentation is thrown to the winds and simple and graceful form reigns supreme.
