(A) This was a major find, a hand-carved Art Nouveau mirror. It measures about 44 inches high and as you can see the glass has a substantial bevel. "Parfait etat," as our French friends say so often, except this time they were right!

Jo saw this and gobbled it up for her Maine hideaway! SOLD!!

(B) Well, I don't think I'd exactly call this mirror "Art Nouveau," but it sure isn't Art Deco, either. How about "transitional?" Or, "FABULOUS!" It's a rare enough form, this vertical oval, with a lovely bevel (a few minor scratches on the surface of the resilvered glass), and wonderfully hammered surfaces on the wrought iron. It's 21 wide and 25 high. (e-mail Jack for a price)

(C) Again, more "transitional" than either Nouveau or Deco, but... is someone judging? It measures 33 wide by 19, and the patina on the very substantial and well-constructed iron is original and in excellent condition. Note the 1-inch bevel. (e-mail Jack for a price)
