(A) Here's a 14 inch diameter signed
Muller art glass bowl probably from the 20's or teens...with
deep yellows on the bottom, subtle brownish-purples above, and
cloud-like bits of orange hovering in between here and there.
The hanging apparatus is a new amber-colored French silk "cordelier"
which has the electrical wires obscured inside one of the three
cords. The canopy is solid brass with a brushed finish, and the
rosettes are comprised of a brass ball with a sprocket-like decorative
washer behind. There is one socket which takes a standard-based
American bulb, and whatever wattage you want to use is just fine.
This hangs at 23 inches long. Scroll to see other bowls with
this apparatus.

This vintage (teens or 20's) art
glass bowl also measures 14 inches across, and is unsigned. It's
probably by Noverdy or Muller or a company of that ilk. This
bowl has a yellowish orange color (it is more toward the orange
color than appears in this photograph) on the bottom, deep blue/purple
colors above, with tiny flecks of red here and there. It hangs
at 23 inches long.
Yellow isn't in your decorating
bag? Not to worry, I've got a nice collection of other art glass
bowls in other colors, like purple and blue and white and gray
and on and on it goes.... just ask!
