tea or coffee cups for your morning's libation!

designed and in fine condition, standing 18 inches tall; the
shade is 16 wide.
|
|
(F) A shimmering hand-hammered
silver plated torchiere-style lamp of ample size, 12 high by
9 wide. If you have a spot for a dramatic accent lamp.... and
for this, who doesn't?
|
(G) Mint condition very heavy Moderne
crystal vase, 8 high by 6 wide.
|
(H) Tea for two? Cuter than the
proverbial button, this small (the tray is about 12 across) set
is by the famous dinandier Delavan. All the pieces are
signed. The metal is hammered pewter and the wood macassar ebony.
A sculpture as much as a tea set!
|
(I) Signed Lorrain (a subsidiary
of Daum), probably designed by Pierre D'Avesn, who headed that
company for the five years it was in operation. Its acid-etched
design is not shown favorably in this photo! In "real life"
it pops! Come see it, you won't be disappointed.
|
|
(K) Another vase by the master
designer Pierre D'Avesn. This one is about 7 inches tall.
|
|
(M) A very heavy gilded bronze
pen tray. It's 11 long and about 3 across.
|
(N) An acid-etched, signed Degue
vase. Very thick, very heavy with a warmth not imparted
by this mere photo. A fine and substantial piece of Art Deco
French glass, about 9 inches tall.
|
(O) A masterpiece by Pierre D'Avesn
(signed). Four "legs," opalescent glass, it stands
about 8 inches high.
|
(P) I've got two of these signed
Limoges vegetable servers. This one is 13 inches by 7, the other
is an inch longer, wider, and a couple inches higher. The gilded
handles have a nice organic look and feel.
|
(Q) A manicure set in Macassar
ebony and nickel, standing about 14 inches high. At the bottom
is a nail polishing device.
|
(R) A liqueur set, gold-interior
sterling liqueur cups with their silver-plated tray. The tray
is about six inches. A small but adorable set!
|
(S) Jean Sala strikes again, this
time a small crystal "accent lamp," about 6 inches
high.
|
(T) This solid bronze Art Nouveau
plaque is about 22 tall, 14 or so wide.
|

(U) An Art Deco and an Art Nouveau
plant or sculpture stand.
|
(V) This opalescent glass box didn't
photograph well, but it's quite lovely. It's about 4 inches tall.
|
(W) You should just see this in
person!! It's signed Leleu, worthy of a very special place in
your home. It hangs about 2 feet down.
|
(X) A cigarette box/sculpture,
signed. You pull up on the cube and the 20 or so cigarettes pop
out on a diagonal! It's about 6 inches high.
|
|
(Y) Unfair to the end, I drooped
a bulb inside this Le Verre Francais vase just to boggle your
minds with the fiery colors. Did I succeed?
|
(Z) Ever heard of "VERREM?"
Neither have I, but that's the signature on this wonderfully
etched French glass vase which stands about 8 inches tall.
|
(What comes after Z?) A Sabino
vase, a luscious deep red color. It's about 6 inches tall.
|
(The Box) The JEWELRY box, that
is. Silvered bronze, signed BOUVIER. About 6 inches across, just
resplendant in every respect. Or should I go on....?
